I am creating a fairly simple form that allows users to enter a $ amount (overall suggested expense guideline) and then also enter smaller amounts for specific types of expenses (i.e. marketing, postage, etc.). I am asking the field to calculate the % of the overall expense that the smaller amount (postage) makes up.

The error message I receive is: "The value entered does not match the format of the field."

Checking around I assume this is because my calculation is trying to divide by zero.

Here is the info from the calculation:

var amount2 = this.getField("Amount2");
var amount3 = this.getField("Amount3");

event.value == amount3.value / amount2.value;

Amount2 is the overall expense guideline, Amount 3 is the "postage" expense. I am trying to show the % of overall spending guideline.

How can I correct this? Thanks!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
