I am a c/c++/C# programmer and I have developed a useful and fun application to automate a tedious chore for my users.
I show them a list of enrollment information - I collect all the pertinent information.
In the application I display the current information in a list box . they select an item of interest and voila - I show it to them on a PDF form - that is nice looking - and easy to read .
all is good -
but they want to sometimes print an entire list rather than just look at it - and they don't want to have to look at each form and press the print button - just to get the 17 copies of the enrollment confirmations that they are hoping to fax off - or whatever -
my next PDF problem - is to be able to print this nice looking pre-populated PDF form without having to
go through the current four (4) step operation :
1. Select the item from a list
2. load the form
3, Press a button to Load the Xml data
4. Press the print form button
but rather to have a two (2) step operation : -
1. Select the item form a list
2. Select print
the application I have written is in C# and the PDf form is a flowable PDF that uses bound XML data
I use - xfa.host.importData("....//bletch"); to populate the form
My question is :
can I do this easily , intelligently and rather quickly using the SDK ?
if so, would it be a plugin to the reader or just Interoperability Services ?
This has to be a common issue - with Adobe, etc - so I am certain that this has been answered many times before - perhaps you can steer me to a useful site - or posting where this has been discussed previously .
