I wanted to create a large PDF with an image (mainly blue in colour) as a background so tried several PDF creation programs but each one replaced my image with a plain, dark blue background.

I gave up, uninstalled all the software, and, instead, downloaded Adobe Reader. The problem is that now, all PDFs, whether ones I created or new ones from the Internet, have this dark blue background.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?
