Topic: bookmarks converted to asian characters?

I'm having a strange issue in Adobe Acrobat Prof. 8.

When I select text and press Cmd-B to automatically generate a new bookmark, the bookmark displays in Asian characters.

This wasn't happening at work, where I use a PC.

Anyone know what it could be?
