Hello,

I have a 230Kb Word document (we embed TrueType fonts). When I convert/print it to a PDF (using CutePDF) the file size of the resulting PDF (which has been OCR'd as well) is just 24Kb.

If however I print the 230Kb Word document (3 pages long) out on paper and then scan these 3 pages to a PDF using our HP LaserJet 9050 MFP the resulting PDF is 500Kb in size!

Can anyone please explain why there's such a difference in file size ...
