I generate a pdf using acrobat distiller from a .ps file. The pdf displays everything perfect but :
1. The character “N” and the phrases that contain “N” is not getting recognized in a search conducted in pdf. For example, if we search a word INTERNATIONAL in the pdf , the search will not yield any results, where as the word is present in the pdf.
2. If we try to copy and paste (on to a notepad) any phrases or strings that contains “N”, the copied characters instead of “N” will show (Rectangular boxes in notepad). For example if we try to copy INTERNATIONAL from the pdf to a notepad, the copied text appears as I TER ATIO AL
Kindly help me out in resolving this issue.
