Thanks for the response. I have downloaded the CrackerJack demo and see that it can control screen angles and other separation controls similar to outputting files from layout apps. What I am not sure is since I distill postscript files, using Distiller 4's press setting, does it matter what resolution or line screen I pick when I first create the postscript file. In the examples I am trying with your software I create a composite pdf without marks in reader spreads with bleed if necessary.
FWIW my boss is looking at using a pdf workflow but the two people who run the imagesetters are not keen on changing. Myself I am not directly involved in outputting files.
