When you create the PostScript file, you should be using the Distiller PPD.
It only gives you a few choices for resolution. For items going to press,
choose the highest one. The resolution setting in the Distiller job
options only affects the smoothness of curves and the number of transitions
in some blends. Aandi's advice of setting screening just before outputting
the job is good advice.
