I asked this question a while back and ended up having to develop our own solution, we have written a script in Markzscout (which should be in everyone's workflow IMO) a version of this can be downloaded
from their web site as well as a 14 day trial of Markzscout in case you do not have it.
Not only will it change PDF's to EPS but every known major repro package you could define as well as microsoft office. Very handy script
