We are running on Macs but the same solution should work with windows, check www.markzware.com for further info. They are very good at customer support even writing bits to your own needs definitely worth
looking at.
For example we have a markzscout script that take any file whether it Quark, Photoshop etc. and converts it to a PDF with our job options and logs all jobs to a database
