I do not recommend saving a Quark file/page as
an EPS. Only do so when you have no other
alternative as it has its limitations with fonts, etc.
Quark EPS files have their place but this isn't one
of them.
You can try opening the PDF in Illustrator and
saving each page as an EPS. Then import the EPS
into Quark. This method should work fine.
Another method is to save or export each page in
the PDF as an EPS file -- done directly in Acrobat.
Then import the EPS file(s) generated from Acrobat
into Quark.
Good luck!
