I'm new to PDF so I hope this question doesn't sound too dumb. I am working on a Web site that has a section for 'information sheets' - which includes pdf versions of hardcopy information brochures (the brochures are 1 - 2 pages long A4 size with images and text).
Scanning directly from writer makes the file size approx. 6.5Mb ..when I try to paper capture it says the file is too big (over 14" x 14") when I reduce the resolution to make it smaller, it says the resolution is too low. When I scan from photoshop and save as pdf the quality is really awful.
What is the best way to covert the hardcopy information sheets into PDF files small enough for users to download off the internet?
