Topic: Distiller invalidfont error

I am trying to distill a .ps file to a PDF with Acrobat Distiller 4.05. Each time I do, it fails to produce a PDF, and I see the following message:

%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: findfont ]%%

Stack:

/Courier
/courier


%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

I have tried placing Courier in the Never Embed list. I have tried selecting my Fonts folder from the C:\WINNT\Fonts folder, but each time I do, no fonts show up in the Embedding list. I have tried selecting True Type fonts and saving that Job Options setting, but it seems always to default back to the Base 14 fonts.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to convert these .ps files to PDFs?
