What I need to do is create a document that loads on screen with images (the header & footer) expanded to the edge of the page border, yet set a system whereby when I print this page, a space is created so the entire header/footer image can be printed, without being cropped and without adjusting/resizing within the printer's 'Print Options'.
How can I do this? Is it possible?
I have 1 solution but maybe there is a better solution available. Essentially creating a on-screen page smaller than the paper you print on.
1. Set page up so images (header/footer) so there is an edge clearance for the page.
2. Crop image within Adobe Acrobat - this creates a page on screen that has images that extend to the edge, however when printed, a small white border appears around the marginally cropped printed page.
Can I set up the program so it automatically re-sizes the page for printing, opposed to simply chopping off my the outer sections of the header and footer? Or is my option the only possible way? Is there a finction in Acrobat to sort this problem out?
