I've seen the same problem with some users I support. Here's my solution. Instead of printing to a Postscript driver set to print to file, print to one set to print to some port (LPT1, COM1, etc.) In the Excel print dialog box, select the Print to File checkbox then Distill as normal. The entire workbook is included in the resulting PDF.
