When sending a large PDF to print over the network to a Lexmark 45C we keep getting Postscript errors. This is what is reported back to me:
error is undefined; offending commanc @XqGC8&g;95@3- 700
Is there a secret decoder ring for this kind of thing.
When I send it through the printer with print postscript errors checked I get one sheet that does print out. On it reads: Error: ioerror
OFFENDING COMMAND: StartData About
1/4 of the page prints but it is illegable. Fonts are incorrect, graphics are our of position or missing, etc.
What could be the problem? I believe it is a network/printer thing. Small files like emails and 450k PDFs print fine but it is the moster 4MB color jobs that get the error "buffer overwrite" that are produced. Any suggestion for our IS staff? There currently is no Print
server in use. Everything goes straight over the network to the printer.
