We have a product that converts everything to CMYK or CMYK/SPOT. It =takes
PostScript created via the the Acrobat Distiller printer driver =(printed to
file instead of the PDF port) from MS Publisher as input, and creates a
bullet proof and colourfull CMYK or CMYK/SPOT PDF job.
The product is Colour Chameleon version 2.0 (previous versions didn't
convert images, but version 2.0 certainly does). The interface for =version
2.0 is only at the beta stage, but the conversion engine itself is =ready for
prime time. Version 2.0 also support most monotone and duotone images, =btw.
If your customer purchase the existing version 1.3 Build 340 (USD =549,-):
1) he will get version 2.0 for free within a few weeks
2) can let us convert the 'current' job as a free test
Your customer is welcome to contact me off list for further details. He =can
e-mail me directly at jacob@grafikhuset.dk.
Hope this helps.
Best regards
Jacob Sch?er

Subject: Microsoft Publisher? & Color

I have a client who generates his own ads for publication in our paper. = He
uses Publisher? and wants to include CMYK color in the document, but =when he
creates a print file and distills it, the colors change to RGB. He has
tried nearly every setting both in Publisher? and Distiller? yet =achieved no
success. Anyone familiar with Publisher? in this regard?
