Experiment 1:
===========
Step 1:
I have 2 jpgs ( rgb / 72 dpi ) placed in PageMaker
6.52 / Macintosh.
Step 2:
I print to a postscript file (Composite / Preserve
EPS colour)
Step 3:
Distill the file (ScreenOptimized - Acrobat Default
settings)
Resulting PDF:
The jpgs appear in B&W.
Experiment 2:
===========
Step 1 :
Open the 2 jpgs in Photoshop / convert to cmyk /
save as .eps
Repeat Steps 2 and 3
Resulting PDF:
The jpgs appear in COLOR.
WHY THE RESULTS ARE DIFFERENT??
