I do believe that a wrong PPD could cause such
problem. What is strange in this case is:
1. If I use the ExportPDF from the PageMaker
menu, the resulting PDF has color images either if
I place RGB/JPG or CMYK/EPS files.
2. If I use the print to postscript file then distill
process, then with RGB/JPGs the images in the
resulting pdf are b&w and with CMYK/EPS the
images are in color.
If the problem was only due to a wrong PPD the
final pdfs would have the same results but they
differ based on the kind of process I use.
Does the ExportPDF command from PageMaker
(note: I did not check the "Overwrite Distiller
Options") has any kind of diference than the
process of printing from PageMaker to a postscript
printer and then Distill the .ps file?
