Is there any way to do automatically create hyperlinks for Word index entries? Does version 5 do this?

I use the Create Adobe PDF (version 4) macro in Word 2000 to convert DOC files into PDFs.

It automatically creates bookmarks and hyperlinked cross-references. But it does not hyperlink the index at the back.
