hello all,
I have been asked by my MD to see if there is a quick and
easy way to do the topic title.
We are a repro house putting together page-intensive
(numerically) magazines. It would be extremely
advantageous, both for ourselves and our clients, if we could
produce a hard copy visual of the pages in progress.
I know I can drop the quark documents onto the pdfWriter
desktop printer, but cannot seem to change the preferences
globally. It's obviously not quick if we have to alter the default
prefs for each page. (ie we want A4 210x297, not american
A4). This is apparently an option for windows users, but I
cannot find the same information regarding macs.
Once that problem is, hopefully, sorted, we can drop the
created pdfs into a hot folder and make a contact sheet in
photoshop.
If someone knows how to alter the pdfwriter prefs, I would be
grateful. Also, if anyone has an idea of making the process
any faster I would be even more chuffed.
thanks in advance,
Dave
