You need Markzscout, we have a solution that creates a PDF automatically
from any mac native files, Illustrator, freehand, Quark etc, etc. etc.
using Markzscout which also drives a database for job logging, etc It
also preflights files (Not post-flight) its a very powerful package that
many people are not using to it potential see www.markzware.com where
you can download a 14 day trial, they also have scripts available to do
exactly what you want it to do.
