Hello Dave,

My first suggestion is to never use pdfWriter for a prepress application.
It only works for the simplest of files, and creates problems otherwise.

Creating PDF files using PostScript and the Distiller will preserve your A4
page size. You can also set things up for "watched folder" automation.
You could set the Distiller Out folder as the Crackerjack Pilot input
folder. Crackerjack, an Acrobat plug-in, will print to the device and with
the settings defined for that Pilot folder. Demo version available on our
