I think you lot miss the point. I do use distiller for
pdf creation, but this is to create a quick and easy
visual flat plan of the magazines we are working
on. I don't want to do much more than drag and
drop a quark document into a folder or onto a
desktop printer and from there to create a contact
sheet.
At the moment, having experimented, I have
managed to drag the quark doc onto the pdfwriter
desktop printer. That opens the file where all I have
to do - when I can set the global prefs correctly - is
press print. Once the pdf is created I put 15-20 into
a folder and do an automated contact sheet in
photoshop.
I AM NOT USING PDFWRITER FOR REAL JOBS,
OK?
It's NOT worrying.
