I am in a brand new position in the Help Desk area of a growing firm. My first task is to create and develop a PDF file which contains technical documentation.
I am familiar with Pagemaker and Photoshop. My question is: Do I create my documentation in Pagemaker and then convert it to PDF? (I will want the PDF file to be complete with links, bookmarks, the works.) Do I export the work I do in Pagemaker and then add links, etc. once it's all in Adobe PDF? Since I am in my first 90 days of my employment, I want to 'hit the ground running' and produce preliminary project results right away. So, there's not a lot of time to train before I dive in. What would be the best way to begin this project?
