An employee of ElcomSoft Ltd., a Russian software company that
recently developed a program capable of cracking PDF-based eBooks
security, has reportedly been detained by the FBI today after
attending a conference in the U.S. over the weekend, and apparently
was not allowed to leave on his scheduled flight to Moscow. Dmitry
Sklyarov had been in Las Vegas to attend and to give a presentation
at the Def Con 9 gathering titled "eBook Security: Theory and
Practice."
