Thanks for posting that.

I echo your sentiments about the lack of info from Adobe on the Capture front, and the suggestion of a separate forum (in fact I've been ECHOing for so long, it's beginning to sound like I'm in a canyon here...)

The thing that worries me is that Capture could conceivably be dropped if the lacklustre support (from all quarters of Adobe) continues. A shame because it is (almost) a superb product, which pleasantly surprises clients we demonstrate it to (people who had given up on getting page fidelity from T***bridge and O***page).

I do hope that Adobe do not end up treating Capture like Business Tools and PressReady, letting it die a slow death. In fact, the only couple of bright spots on the horizon are a) a couple of Adobe people (Chita Hunter, Chris Holm) actually care enough to trawl through these forums and even apologise for the lousy service, and b) they Capture team have actually bothered to go to 3.03 rather than shrug their shoulders and leave it at 3.00/3.01.

In the UK at least, we get feedback from Adobe customers that suggests very few are actually hearing about Capture, never mind buying it. And if this is the case elsewhere, then this product (and the dev team) won't survive - no matter how good an application it may be.

Hope someone contradicts me with some positive news...

p.s. a rumour from an Adobe seminar says that Adobe US are working on some kind of Mac based version of Capture. Find that hard to believe, but maybe someone knows more.
