Greetings,
After using Acrobat 3.0/4.0 for paper-to-PDF conversion for years (using Panasonic duplex high-speed scanners), we recently upgraded to Acrobat 5.0. I also downloaded the latest Paper Capture plug-in and installed it.
However, we've noticed a substantial =decrease= in SPEED of capture 5.0 vs. 4.0 -- e.g., a 40-page document that required only 6 minutes to Capture using 4.0 now takes 8+ minutes using Capture 5.0!
We scan/capture hundreds of documents, so the time difference will be substantial. Before I decide to go back to using our tried-and-true Acrobat 4.0 and Capture 4.0 plug-in, does anybody have a suggestion or similar experience? Please don't suggest we buy the Capture 3.0 -- we don't need it! Capture 4.0 plug-in has worked perfectly well for our use doing several thousand documents!
