I've been experimenting with the paper capture plug in for Acrobat 5 with very disappointing results. The problem is that with a block of text that is of a consistent type, size, style, weight, etc. on the original I'll get all kinds of bizarre combinations in the "captured" document.
After capture a paragraph will go along in "TimesNewRomanPSMT" with all sorts of bizarre variations of two-decimal-place pitch, yaw, slant, indent, font-size, stretch, etc, and then will suddnely shift to CourierNewPS-BoldMT with a whole other set of parameters.
It looks exactly as if someone took a word document, highlighted words at random and changed their font attributes.
The obvious fix would be to highlight all the text in a document or paragraph and apply a single set of font attributes. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to do this as each line of text in the document seems to be composed of one or more "blocks" of text that don't seem to want to be selected simultaneously.
Is there any way to deal with this problem that doesn't involve going through the document line by line adjusting attributes?
