Link HTML files or directly reference to specific pages / bookmarks in a PDF file
Dear Sir
Please can you please tell me, or publish an article on your website, concerning a popular technical request for displaying PDF files with the Acrobat Viewer.
Is it possible to call a PDF file from a HTML file (or just directly execute a PDF file, calling the Acrobat PDF Viewer) and directly goto a specific page or bookmark within the PDF file?
I expect that some argument must be passed to the PDF Viewer, such as:
http://www.mysite.com/test.pdf#Page23
or (double-clicking the PDF file to call the Acrobat Reader)
test.pdf#Bookmark50
This above script I've stated does not function. Please can you advise on the correct method.
PS I have read Acro tip # 33 and 5 on your website, but these address Named Destinations, and not bookmarks.
I hope this topic will provide useful to other users visiting the forum
Yours faithfully
JMG
