Topic: Bookmarks visable when links are followed

I have a large PDF document that is intended for online viewing. To help load time, I split up the PDF into many smaller PDF's and made bookmarks on the cover page PDF that link to the individual PDF's. Is there any way to make the bookmarks stay visable when the links are followed (without recreating the bookmarks for each individual PDF)?
