Is there a way, or a tool with which, to generate
table of contents from a pdf file's bookmarks?
We convert an html JavaDoc "website" into PDF.
After Acrobat imports the "site" we laboriously drag
bookmarks and thumbnails around until we have a
scrollable file, e.g., with the pages and bookmarks
sequentially ordered.
We'd like to generate Table of Contents
information from the Bookmarks, since they're
accurate at this point. And, of course, we'd like to
re-generate the TOC as new pages are added to
the pdf file (by comparing to new versions ot the
"website").
