1. What steps did you take to make YOUR index available to be searched.

>> Edit/Search/Select Indexes
My Index.pdx is one level up mu PDFs folder

2. If the Acrobat help index is in the list of help indexes, nothing you can do will remove it; this has no relation to the problem you are trying to solve.
