I do invoke search on local files: my project is on a CDrom. Am I missing something here?

The reason why I use a browser for my project is because I need to pop up windows. If I don't use a browser, I know my problem will be solved. But it seems JS doesn't quite work in PDF. > Do you know how I can how I can make a "window.open" ?
