I'm trying out using JavaScript in my Acrobat 5.0
document and am encountering an error when in
the Tools>JavaScripts>Document JavaScripts
dialogue box. I tried practicing by using the
example in the Acrobat Help utility, that of running a
date script so the document will display the day's
date upon opening. After typing in the javaScript
code, the following error message displayed:
SyntaxError:illegal character at line [then the line
was named]
I found that the "illegal character" was, in fact, my
cursor! Of course, there is no way to remove the
cursor from the dialogue box.
Any ideas?
