I'm getting a Distiller error from a
Photoshop-generated .ps file.
First, I've flattened the image (to a single layer) and
rasterized all type. The imagesize is 8.5x11; I
always get (and ignore) the alert that some
clipping will occur.
Now the Distiller errors: I get the same error info
when attempting to distill the .ps file generated
either from the native Photoshop file, or a.tif file
made from the original using Save As...
The error says: error invalidaccess, offending
command def

trying to look around this curve, Courier is
long-since installed in the Mac's System>Fonts
folder, and I successfully distill long FrameMaker
docs in which Courier is sprinkled throughout.
