Topic: Read Only attribute lost when using AddTemplate

I have a field on a PDF Form (template) that is defined as read only. When I generate a new page via the Java FDF Toolkit the Read Only functionality does not propagate to the new page. Does anyone have a work around for this? Is there an attribute that I should set when I create the field.
From my view point it would be helpful if a developer could over-ride the "Read Only", "Required", and "Form Field Is" Common (field) Properties.
