I noticed when some users are using acrobat reader 4.0 and are trying to load my FDF generated PDF up, they get a box that pops up that says "A web browser has not been specified. Do you want to configure the Weblink Preferences". When they click OK it sends them to there acrobat weblink preferences (File->Preferences->Weblink) where they are supposed to specify a "connection type" (IE or netscape) and a "Web browser application" (which is a path to there browser) if this is left blank another box pops up that says "The location of the web browser has not been specoified. Please do this via the weblink preferences panel". I am sure there is a way to side step this, since i have opened other sites succesfully and loaded there FDF populated PDF's up in an IE browser w/out havin the browser and browser location specified in Reader. If anyone has any suggestions it would be very grateful, since i have no idea how to get around this, i have read the FDF toolkit, and many other list serves to no avail on this problem. I do not know if this is a mime type error or what !
