A field chan have exactly one font. So, if you chose a bold font or
an italic font, you are there.
Note that these are different fonts. The practice of "fattening up"
fonts to create "bold" is a "feature" from word processors from the
past, when outputting to daisy-wheel printers. Using this feature in
the age of electronic fonts shows a frightening lack of sense for
fonts and asthetics.
