God Bless You
I'm faced with a sitation in which I need to scan in active and inactive medical records, that WILL be updates regularly (progress notes, lab work results etc...)
I know I can add pages to the PDF file, and the doctors will lease a highspeed scanner, the problem is in the updating and indexing especially in creating separate sections or independent chapters in a single PDF and adding pages to separate sections of a chart(PDF) even though it will reside in a single PDF File.
for example, a standard Adult chart includes the following section that will need to be updated by section:
section 1 Scanned in or saved form-based general patient data
section 2 Scanned in or saved form-based insurance data
section 3 scanned in images of medical card (scanned 1 per visit unless in the same month)
section 4 History and Physical
section 5 Progress Notes
Section 6 Correspondence
Section 7 Lab / X-ray
Section 8 Other Scanned in or saved form-based data
Section 9 Images,Movies and Audio
does anyone khow how do sectionize a pdf or know of a very good reference book on Acrobat 5
