I will have approximately 125000 pages per/day to convert to Searchable image pdf from tiff. I need recommendations on which hardware configuration is optimal.
Several(4-5) dual or quad processor machines running multi processor cluster edition Acrobat Capture.
OR
8-12 single processor cluster edition work stations
Other than # of processors the rest of the hardware would be exactly the same RAM, hard drives(10K SCSI), and the network is 100 Base T. Cost differences do not impact the decision greatly but need a configuration that completes the daily requirements.
Your guidance is greatly appreciated.
