We have an outside vendor that scans our books & gives us a PDF file. They use PC/Windows Acrobat 4.05 We Use Mac G4's/os9.1 Acrobat4.05. In Acrobat we open the docs & do an option-double-click the Touch up Object tool, this launches Photoshop 6.0 and we clean up the scanned pages and make some changes. This usually works fine, however some of the docs will not launch PS we get an error message "unable to open temp file the file format module is unable to parse the file" I belive the problem is with the vendor files but am unable to figure out why some are easily editable & others are not. Thanks for your help
