I'm trying to automate the paper Capture Plug-in process using WinBatch. Unfortunately, this plug-in doesn't adhere to many common Windows GUI conventions (accelerator keys, etc.).
Specifically, I'm having difficulty manipulating the Paper Capture Plug-in dialog box when a single-page document is open in Acrobat 5.0 versus a multiple-page PDF. As a potential solution, I'd like to use WinBatch to do a pre-scan of the PDF it's about to open in Acrobat, having it look for the existence of a . I'm assuming if no page breaks are encountered, the PDF in question is a single-page doc and I easily can manipulate it from there.
The question: what should I use as the SEARCH CRITERION in WinBatch? Or, is there a better way to auto-sense a single- versus multiple-paged PDF?
