Hi guys,
I am in really urgent need of some help here and any would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to do, what I though to be, a very simple task. That is, scan in a couple of paper forms we have here into Adobe Acrobat 5 and then use the Paper Capture Plug-In to turn it into a PDF where the text is editable and I can then add form fields to the PDF.
I am having difficulty doing this though as the forms contain light great shaded boxes with text and checkboxes in them and font recognition is a little off key.
Can someone possibly offer me some tips or suggestions in the best way to scan a form that is more grayscale than straight B&W and then what I should do/use to turn it into an editable PDF form. We need to be able to edit the text on the form.
If there are any software products that can do this better than the awful Paper Capture Plug-In it'd be much appreciated if you could let me know about them.
Any help would do I guess.
Thanks heaps,
pete...
