Topic: Redmon/GhostScript print. probl. with *.pdf W95/98

Hi there,

in our administration software we use Redmon 1.5 / 1.7 and Aladdin GhostScript 6.01 / 7.03 to convert hard copies into *.pdf-files. With Win NT 4.0 and Win 2000 there's no problem but using Win 95/98 (Apple Laser Writer II, driver pscript.drv 4.0 or HP 4V/4MV, driver ADOBEPS4.DRV Version 4.52) nothing happens. Windows does not even open the print manager. A logfile 'rpt1' is created.

This file contains:

statusdict begin (%%[ ProductName: ) print product print ( ]%%)= flush end

/findresource where{pop mark{/CIDParams /ProcSet findresource /SetBuildCompatible get true exch exec}stopped cleartomark}if

[ 1 0 0 1 0 0 ] false AdobePS_Win_Driver_Incr_L2 dup /initialize get exec

Other programs like MS Word or the Windows test page are converted correctly into a *.pdf-file, so the installation of the driver, redmon and ghostscript should be correct.

Do you have any advice which could help me?

Thanks and regards, Bernhard

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
