Topic: PDFWriter API Problem on MAC OS 9.1

Hi Everyone,
i am new to this forum and i would like some help regarding the PDFWriter API on the Mac OS 9.1

I am writing a small application where all i do is switch the default printer to the PDFWriter and then set the PDFWriter , then print (create PDF) then restore original printer as default. I have successfully finished most of this application, however i am having problems setting the PDFWriter up.

In my application i do not want the print dialogs and i want to launch Acrobat Reader automatically upon completion. To do this i looked at the PDFWriter API. As suggested i set the settings with the SetUserInteraction() function. the PDFWriter does not respond to using SetUserInteraction. The print dialogs still popup and the reader isnt launched. I tried writing a test app and used SetUserInteraction followed by GetUserInteraction. I printed the results to screen. I could see printed on the screen what I had just set using SetUserInteraction, however as i mentioned these settings were not used.

What could be the problem. MY application therefore just creates a file "Untitled.pdf" on the desktop.

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Thanx
