Topic: dynamically assigning values to a combo box

I have a PDF that I want to allow users to fill out on the web. The PDF represents an order and has up to 8 order lines. Each order line has two combos, one with the product type and one the product. The product combo needs to refresh when a product type is selected.

The values in the combos will be the same in each order line but because there are several hundred products which change, I need to insert the data dynamically and I would rather only insert it once - rather than 8 times as this will make the data that needs to be downloaded huge!

I know how to merge using FDF - is there something I can do with JavaScript?

Any help gratefull received.
