Topic: Problem with submitForm()

Can anyone help me identify what is going on here?
Occasionally I am finding that submitForm fails...

Is it possible that validations and calculations still running on a form could prevent submitForm from executing?

The scenario is that I have a 'Save' button on the form. When a user tries to save I validate that the form is compliant, letting them know if it isn't and giving them an out to fix it, before finally submitting to a PHP script.

Sometimes everything seems to execute, EXCEPT the submitForm...

If it is the validation and calculation events, is there any doc property (?) that I can use to tell when the form is stable, before trying to submit it?
