What are some "scanner control" software that you would recommend?

At times, I need to scan several thousand pages a day. It would make my life a lot easier if I could batch scan all of the similar documents together and have them separated out into separate files; and possibly, if I could have these files already named and saved to a specific place on the hard drive.

The scanner itself does recognize separator pages. (I've tested it out.) I just need to find a good program to organize the separated files.
