1) you need the acrobat full version so you can
distill your PDFs. This will embed your fonts
meaning include them in the file so that you are
guaranteed they appear as intended. You can
place some levels of security in the documents
with acrobat. So just get a full version of Acrobat
4,or 5 and save as compatibility PDF 1.3
2) As far as CD-R's go I own a QPS 12x10x32x
(write speed, rewrite speed, read speed) and it is
awesome. I highly recommend QPS and Toast.
Whatever brand you choose though a must is a
firewire connection with at least 2MB buffer
underrun. This ensures that your dics don't
become coasters.
